On the Vulcano info platform

A few days ago I had to move all my pictures from my phone's memory card to my PC because I had hardly any space left and couldn't take any new pictures. That was quite exciting and some pictures I have already not even thought about...Anyway...photographing is really easy today in contrast to the past..and how quickly you have made hundreds of pictures? It's not sooo long ago that we brought films to the photographer for developing and then had to wait a few days until we could finally see whether the images have actually become something... 🙂

Vulcano information platform in Steineberg

So a few weeks ago I was on the Vulcano info platform. Every day I can see the top of the tower from the highway...24m high it is and sticks out far from the trees on the Steineberg (560m ). Early in the morning I set out to see something of the sunrise as well. About in the middle of the place a small path leads up ..past a small sports field and a small hut.

I ran straight ahead. And there...suddenly the tower stood before me. It's really like this: From the highway you can see the tower directly..but once you are in the village itself, you can't see the tower between the trees at all!

It was quite windy and it took me a bit of effort to climb all the way to the top. But the view compensated for everything!

On my trip it was still quite cold and windy...but I'll be back in the summer...already looking forward to it 🙂
