With the bike bus MaareMosel (line 300 & express bus 555) you can bridge the climbs between Mosel and Eifel. The bus runs between Bernkastel-Kues and Daun and also connects Wittlich and Manderscheid. On weekends and holidays, some trips run via Pantenburg and Gillenfeld instead. The buses run every two hours from about 7 a.m. to about 8 p.m. daily, offering a very comprehensive range of services that gives you the flexibility you need to plan tours along the Maare-Mosel bike trail, for example.
The Vulkaneifel bike bus (line 77) provides a pleasant ride between the Mosel valley and the Eifel heights - it runs between Cochem on the Mosel and Gerolstein in the Vulkaneifel and also connects Ulmen and Daun on the way. You can use the bus every two hours every day - it runs from about 7 in the morning until 9 in the evening, so you can plan your bike tour flexibly. The bus has room for 22 bicycles. With the Vulkaneifel bike bus you also have good connections from different directions: In Cochem there is a connection to the Mosel route Trier - Koblenz, in Gerolstein to the Eifel route Trier - Cologne and at the ZOB Daun to the bike bus Maare Mosel.
