The route continues with a sporty section via Gerolstein to Daun. In Gerolstein, treat yourself to a break at the Helenenquelle spring in the spa gardens. The water of the spring contains a lot of calcium, magnesium and carbon dioxide. The water is taken from Middle Devonian carbonate rocks from a depth of 84 to 96 meters and can be drunk directly from the brass tap. Especially on warm days, this refreshment is a blessing.
