The notched timber is the theme and symbol of this hiking trail. You will encounter it at special places: places where witnesses of times long past tell their stories. With each notch you will go deeper into the eventful past of the rustic Üssbach valley. And perhaps you will discover things that would have remained hidden to you without these stories.

On the path of peace you will be led to the boundary stones that will encourage you to pause and reflect on your own limits.

The hike through the realm of Vulcanus - God of Fire will take you past mineral springs, Schlaken cone, millstone and ice caves.

Healthy, strong and sparkling - the Gerolsteiner Dolomites Eight is a loop of everlasting experience and consists of the two circular trails Gerolsteiner Felsenpfad and Gerolsteiner Keltenpfad.
