Stylish and exclusive vacation apartments with lake views in SchalkenmehrenThe "Maarberg Resort" apartment complex has been completely renovated and refurbished. It is beautifully situated on the outskirts of Schalkenmehren by the lake. A quiet hillside location on the edge of the forest. It is only about 400 m to the lake and the village center. There are 9 different vacation apartments for 1 to 6 people:Studios, apartments with 1 separate bedroom and apartments with 2 separate bedroomsEach apartment is stylish, individual, bright, friendly and modern.Special emphasis was placed on the exclusive furnishing of the bathrooms and kitchens.There are whirlpools, steam showers, TV in the bathrooms, LED floor lighting etc.All kitchens have dishwashers. Large HD TVs, WIFI etc.There are good restaurants, cafes and shopping facilities in the village. In the district town of Daun, 5 km away, you will also find many shopping facilities and supermarkets.From some apartments in the Maarberg Resort you can enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. Each apartment has WIFI / Wlan internet access. In the house: reception hall with reception, seating and games (available for use). A new, modern sauna and jacuzzi (free of charge) can be found in the basement of the "Maarberg Resort". You can also use the sauna on your own (lockable). There is also a room in the basement with a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. In the reception hall you will find hiking maps and postcards as well as free information material on the many excursion destinations and leisure activities in the region. There is also a drinks fridge in the reception hall with drinks to take away on a trust basis. The outdoor area will delight you!A wonderful and elaborately designed ornamental pond with koi and other fish, 2 waterfalls and a stream is part of the complex. Sit comfortably with a coffee or a cocktail on the balcony or terrace and watch the fish. Or look out over the lake in the valley.There are also plenty of parking spaces and a bicycle storage area outside. A barbecue area with a view of the lake is located behind the house.

Our glamping tents stand on large wooden platforms and have a small outdoor terrace. The beds are made of straw. Therefore, and also because of the high cotton content of the tents, there is a very pleasant indoor climate. All tents have a small serving trolley with cutlery, glasses, plates etc. as well as a clothes rail and seating. For cosy lighting, there are fairy lights and solar lamps, which can also be used to charge a mobile phone via USB. There is also the possibility of using electricity between the tents. An outdoor kitchen with a large barbecue area is available for self-catering. Many delicacies are available in the small farm shop and garden. If the weather is not so good to cook on the open fire, you will find toasters, kettles, hot plates and a small oven in the small farm shop. In our outdoor sanitary facilities you will find environmentally conscious outdoor showers as well as environmentally conscious dry separation toilets.

Exclusive, tastefully furnished chalet in a natural location As soon as you enter the barrier-free bungalow chalet, you will feel the unique indoor climate of our sustainable wooden houses. Solid polar wood, large windows and the special ceiling height convey the feeling of being in the middle of nature and help you to simply let go and relax! THE ACCOMMODATION The 125 m2 bungalow chalets and the 175 m2 gallery chalet are located in the middle of the beautiful Vulkaneifel. With two to three bedrooms, they are ideal for a longer stay with 2-6 people. One bedroom can be prepared with either two double beds or one single bed. Please give us a brief note on this. We only completed the chalet at the end of 2022 and furnished it in a modern, stylish and comfortable way. Each chalet has its own sauna, free-standing bathtub and private gym. The sleeping area, kitchen, bathroom and fitness area are fully equipped and of the highest quality. Each chalet has two private parking spaces with a private wall box for electric cars. In our NETTE chalets, we not only provide you with bed linen, bathrobes and towels, we also clean them according to the strictest cleaning standards. In addition, a large number of consumables are freely available to you. From fragrance essences for our saunas to shampoo and shower gel to dishwasher tabs and cotton pads. Upon arrival you will also find some coffee capsules and tea bags for a relaxed first arrival. All of these consumables are replenished or replaced after each stay. Our goal is that our guests lack nothing! We ask for your understanding that it is only through our cleaning costs that we are able to meet such high hygiene standards and, moreover, to ensure a maximum carefree experience during your stay. OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES There are many beautiful hiking and cycling trails in the Eifel. We recommend the "Komoot" app. There you will find a variety of predefined and individual hiking routes. From Oberbettingen and Gerolstein you are well connected by train in Germany. Shops and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity!

Enjoy your holiday in a spacious, comfortably furnished holiday flat in Daun. All important facilities such as shops, restaurants, supermarket etc. are within walking distance. The holiday flat with approx. 95 sqm of living space is located on the top 6th floor of an apartment building and offers an incomparable view of Daun. A garage belongs to the flat and there is also a communal bicycle cellar in the house.

Our family-friendly guest house is located in the natural forests of the vulkaneifel. Good value half board. Comfortably furnished guest rooms with shower/toilet, television and balcony. Use of the indoor pool (4,50 x 12 m, 30°) is included. Sauna for a fee. As you can see we offer you a very low priced stay. The basic setting here is, that guests are responsible themselves for making the beds and keeping the room tidy. Everything is set up, that these small things won`t strain you.
