She is called "Eifel poet" - one of the most popular writers of the early 20th century, who was often in the Vulkaneifel and loved Bad Bertrich.

The Clara Viebig Centre in Eisenschmitt gives an impression into Claras life in the 1900, historical background and her books in origin as well as more lifetime exhibits.

Photo and film museumKurfuerstenstr. 70, Bad Bertrich The private photo and film museum has opened its doors to the interested public. The Eischen family has collected well over 2,500 exhibits from the world of photographers and filmmakers. These include valuable exhibits such as Lanterna Magicas, old film and cinema projectors or laboratory equipment. Upon request, Ms. Eliane Eischen-Küntsch will guide you through the museum.

"From farm to spa" - this is the name for one of the five sections of the Manderscheid Museum of Local History. But counts, knights and servants also play an important role.

An exhibition that provides an insight into the economic and social importance of the former home weaving cooperative in Schalkenmehren. Home weaving products over an expanse of six decades, from farm linen to "Maartuch" are shown. Demonstrations and exhibition of weaving equipment and accessories can be seen.
