On Thursday, August 13, 2026, a section of the Maare-Mosel Bike Trail in Daun will be temporarily closed. The closure is due to an inspection of the viaduct.
The first approximately 1.8 kilometers from the Daun train station will be affected. A detour for cyclists will be set up through the town and along the Kosmos Bike Trail. From the L 64 heading toward the Weinfelder Maar parking lot, cyclists can rejoin the Maare-Mosel Bike Trail shortly after passing the youth hostel. Cyclists are asked to follow the signposted detour.
