What brings a smile to our faces? — And what brings tears to our eyes? Love, family, politics, world events… Many things affect us in different ways and stir up emotions. Sometimes even several at the same time. Kurt Tucholsky masterfully described these themes, viewing life sometimes with humor and levity, and at other times with melancholy, bitterness, or satire—yet always with foresight and depth.

In their new theatrical production, the Findlinge slip into the roles of Tucholsky’s pseudonyms (Peter Panter, Theobald Tiger, Ignatz Wrobel, Kasper Hauser), who view their creator’s biography and writings through their own eyes and invite the audience to learn with them—to laugh without crying…
