Museum tours during winter opening hours

Welcome to the Vulkaneifel, the land of scoria cones and maars. In our museum tour, we will explain the volcanological difference between the scoria cones and maars that exist here. What kind of rocks are these volcanoes made of and how do they erupt? Not only the children will understand all of this, but the adults too! Questions are of course welcome.

At the end of the tours, we will discuss together the most important of all volcano questions. Let's see who already knows the answer.
