The chapel concerts of the Eifelverein have repeatedly found enthusiastic listeners over the years.

This year, the widely known Eifel troubadour Günter Hochgürtel will delight us with his musical talent. The active musician, who is also the frontman of the dialect band Wibbelsterz and a member of the notorious Eifel gang, has had a deep love for French chanson since his youth. He regularly gives successful solo chanson concerts at intervals.

For those unfamiliar with the world of French chanson, the singer will amusingly give a little guidance. Between the songs, one learns interesting information about the chansonniers Jacques Brel, Gilbert Becaud, Georges Moustaki, and many others. To lighten the mood, Hochgürtel also has three well-known Italian canzone in his repertoire. So, prepare yourself for an entertaining musical afternoon.

Membership in the Eifelverein is not a requirement to attend the concert. Admission is free - as every year. However, at the end of the event, the Eifelverein would appreciate any voluntary donations.
