The Burgenverein Manderscheid invites you to the "Hoftag" on October 19th at the Niederburg - a small and fine excursion into the Middle Ages for the whole family.

"Hear ye, hear ye and receive the joyful news!" proclaims the herald Gottfried von Gimborn to the assembled audience - and tells in artfully crafted wording about the former inhabitants of the Manderscheid Niederburg. In an exciting and enjoyable tour, both large and small guests will follow the traces of the knights, exploring every corner and nook of the nearly 850-year-old castle complex.

The "Burgenverein Manderscheid e.V." cordially invites you to an enjoyable program with knights and noble ladies, with games, music, dance, and knightly competitions - and of course food and drink.
From 11 AM to 5 PM, the large gate of the Niederburg will open for children and the rest of the family; admission is 5 euros for adults and 3 euros for children from six years old.
