Guided bike tour of the Eifel Association Daun: By muscle power through the summer landscape

Exercise in the fresh air and a shared nature experience are at the forefront when the Eifelverein Daun invites to its next guided bike tour.
On Wednesday, August 26, 2026, all sports and nature enthusiasts on two wheels will explore the local area. The approximately 23-kilometer circular route leads predominantly along well-maintained field and forest paths. The starting point is at 2:00 p.m. in Daun-Boverath (Oberdorf). From there, the route goes through Darscheid and Gefell up to the Tommener Höhe. Continuing on to Steiningen, through the Lehwald to the Darscheider Drees, and finally back to the starting point in Daun. With a total of 350 meters in elevation gain and a pure riding time of about two hours, personal fitness is paramount. Therefore, the offering is specifically aimed at riders of mountain bikes, trekking bikes, and tour bikes – E-bikes are not permitted on this tour.

To ensure that enjoyment is also on the agenda, regular breaks are planned along the way to enjoy the view of the Eifel landscape and catch one's breath. To conclude the tour, a joint visit to a café in Daun is scheduled. Guests are always warmly welcomed at the Eifelverein.
