The Astronomical Association continues its series of events both in person and online.

The discovery of the expansion of the universe is one of the most important discoveries in the history of science. The name generally associated with it has named natural constants and space telescopes. Less known is that the true discoverer of the expansion was a Rhinelander, Carl Wirtz from Krefeld, who published the general drift of spiral nebulae in 1924.

For the in-person event at the Hoher List Observatory, the number of participants is limited. Therefore, registration stating "attendance" is required at kontakt@hoher-list.de.
