You live with us in the approx. 80m² large renovated apartment in our detached house in Gillenfeld, which is located directly on the outskirts of the village in the immediate vicinity of the forest. The Pulvermaar and Holzmaar are only a few minutes' drive away. You can also quickly reach the Maare-Moselle cycle path or popular hiking routes. It offers space for up to 6 people. Our apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with ceramic hob/oven, fridge and freezer compartment, dishwasher. From the cozy living/dining room with TV, sofa bed and fireplace you have direct access to the terrace. The apartment has 2 double bedrooms. Bed linen, towels, kitchen towels and the final cleaning are included in the rental price.

Our cozy bright apartment is on the ground floor and has a separate entrance. There is an open kitchen/living area with a sofa bed, a barrier-free bathroom with a shower and a bedroom with a double bed. The terrace is barrier-free and invites you to relax and feel good. A parking space is available free of charge. Located in the beautiful volcanic Eifel, it is an ideal starting point for walks, long hikes or bike tours on the Maare-Moselle cycle path. Ideally located for hikers, cyclists or bikers. The "Eyes of the Eifel", the Holzmaar, Pulvermaar, Schalkenmehrener Maar, Weinfelder Maar and Gemündener Maar are within a radius of approx. 10 km and invite you to walk, swim or go boating. Hiking trails such as the Eifelsteig, Lieserpfad and Heimatspuren can be reached in the immediate vicinity. Day trips to Germany's oldest city, to Trier or to the Moselle, to Koblenz to the border triangle or to the Nürburgring can be reached by car in one to two hours. The motorway junctions Mehren/Vulkaneifel and Manderscheid are only approx. 12 km away. You can reach the train station Wittlich/Wengerohr in approx. 35 km, from here excursions to the Saar loop, to the Moselle or to Cologne are possible with many connections. Shops can be found in Gillenfeld (approx. 5 km) or in Daun (approx. 10 km). Please note that there are no shops or restaurants in the village itself. On request and against payment of costs, we can therefore fill the fridge for you before your arrival. If required, a second small apartment for 1-2 people is available in town and can be arranged. Welcome to the "Eifelrose" holiday homeQuietly situated in a small suburb, the newly renovated holiday flat on 70 sqm offers everything 2-4 people need for a nice holiday.In Ulmen, 3km away, you will find everything for your daily needs, such as bakers, butchers and supermarkets. There are also restaurants, snack bars and an ice cream parlour in the village.In addition to the castle ruins, you can see and explore not only the youngest maar in Central Europe (Ulmener Maar) but also the oldest maar in Germany (Jungferweiher). Since April 2023, it has also been possible to walk through the Ulmen maar tunnel, the connection between the two maars that was built in the Middle Ages. The multi-award-winning "Wilde Endert" hiking trail also starts here and takes you all the way to Cochem.There is also a lot to explore in the surrounding area, e.g. the Daun maars, Manderscheid with its castles and the castle climbing trail, newly opened in 2023, Cochem with the imposing Reichsburg castle and the Nürburgring is only 20km away.Whether hiking, cycling (there are special cycle buses here) or simply relaxing, there is something for everyone in the Vulkaneifel.We, Michael and Daniela, are looking forward to welcoming you in our house.Best wishes from the Eifel

Our holiday flat has been completely renovated. This contains a new bathroom as well as new furniture and the flat is ready for occupancy in October 2020 at the earliest. The flat is part of our one-family house, it is spacious with its 55 sqm and it offers enough space for two people. Our house is the last one in a calm dead-end street and the flat is at ground level with a separate entrance. The parking lot in front of the house is to your disposal. Your holiday flat has a light foyer, a cozy living room with a couch and a dining corner, a separate fully-equipped kitchen, a roomy bedroom with a full-size bed and a bathroom with a shower. Additionally to the flat you find a storage room with a lot of useful devices, for example a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. In front of the house there is a cozy lounge to end your day. You can store your bikes, e-bikes and motorcycles in a lockable garage. You spend your holidays in a calm residential area which is nevertheless close to the centre. The centre of Daun with its restaurants, cafés, cinema and shops can be easily reached by foot in about 10 – 15 minutes. There are two supermarkets, one includes a bakery, not more than 800m away. The playground for kids is close to the flat – about 200m away. We hope for your understanding as smoking and pets are not permitted in our holiday flat.

There are many well-known destinations perfect for varied day trips: Experience the legendary Nürburgring race track, the “Green Hell”; discover the romantic castle towns of Cochem and Bernkastel; or visit the historic Roman city of Trier. This cozy vacation apartment is situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of Bleckhausen and offers a wonderful view over the Vulkaneifel. The cozy 75 square meter vacation apartment with roof terrace is located on the 1st floor of a former farmhouse. With around 300 inhabitants, Bleckhausen is an idyllic, small village in the heart of the Volcanic Eifel. This guarantees a quiet environment and roads with little traffic. Already in the morning at breakfast you have a unique and beautiful view over the Volcanic Eifel from your roof terrace or from the breakfast place at the barbecue.Extensive, hour-long walks can be undertaken directly from the house, where you can change again and again between forests, fields and meadows.
