The millstone caves are located northwest of Gerolstein, between the districts Müllenborn and Roth. For those who want to get really deep insights into the interior of the volcano Eifel, a visit to the Mühlstein caves is a must.

The highest elevation of the Mosenberg group has an observation tower. A 360° view over the Volcanic Eifel is worth the steep climb.

UNESCO Global Geopark "Nature and Geopark Vulkaneifel" offers untouched and unique nature. 

In the heart of the Volcanic Eifel lies what is probably the most complete volcano in Germany, the Rockeskyller Kopf. No other volcano shows all stages of its development so open-heartedly.

Where it is most beautiful between the Moselle and the Eifel - this is Bad Bertrich! Romantic location in the Üssbach valley, framed by the Moselle and Vulkaneifel. Bad Bertrich, the spa with the only Glauber's salt thermal water in Germany (32° C naturally warm), offers relaxation and recreation in a varied environment.

The Schalkenmehren maar is the largest of the three Daun maars. Here, you can not only enjoy nature and the fresh air during your walk, but can also cool off in the maar. You also have the option of fishing and exploring the maar by boat.

The few walls of the once stately Ulmen Castle rise above the steep bank of the Ulmener Maar. Only parts of the upper castle have survived for posterity.
