The Pulvermaar, an almost circular lake with 74 m deep blue water surrounded by steep slopes and beautiful beech forest, invites you to swim in a unique natural setting.

The Schalkenmehren maar is the largest of the three Daun maars. Here, you can not only enjoy nature and the fresh air during your walk, but can also cool off in the maar. You also have the option of fishing and exploring the maar by boat.

The playground at the Drei Eichen Hütte in Lutzerath is beautifully situated in the forest and is particularly suitable for hot summer days. As the site is close to the "HeimatSpur Erlebnispfad Achterhöhe" or "HeimatSpur Wald-Wohlfühl-Weg" hiking trails, a short hike with the family can be wonderfully combined with a nice end to the day on the playground. The large bench invites you to have a picnic.

The Manderscheid family outdoor pool is located on the edge of the Liesertal with plenty of attractions, such as a wide water slide, a jumping facility, a baby and toddler pool and a large lawn with play areas.
