In the Westeifel-Moseltal region, hikers will find the "Strotzbüscher Quelle", a warm mineral water spring. The water temperature of this warm spring located in the Ueßbach valley is almost 20°C.

The Maar-cross above the Schalkenmehren Maar is worth the climb. The view at 535 metres above sea level over the region is incredible and at the same time very decelerating.
