The VulkanBike Marathon 2026 will take place on September 12 in the picturesque Vulkaneifel and offers mountain bike enthusiasts an exciting event with a variety of routes and challenges.

Program and Highlights: The VulkanBike Marathon includes several route lengths, including:

• Ultra-Marathon: 100 km with 2300 meters of elevation
• Marathon: 85 km with 2000 meters of elevation
• Half-Marathon: 65 km with 1300 meters of elevation
• Sport Track: 38 km with 900 meters of elevation
• E-Bike Challenge: 38 km with 900 meters of elevation or 65 km with 1300 meters of elevation
• GesundLand Route: 20 km with 550 meters of elevation for leisure cyclists

These various routes offer suitable challenges for both professionals and hobbyists.

from 07:00 a.m.: Late registration / Bib number distribution
from 09:00 a.m.: Start Ultra-Marathon MTB + Gravel Bike (approx. 101 km / 2400 m elevation)
from approx. 09:30 a.m.: Start Marathon MTB + Gravel Bike (approx. 90 km / 2000 m elevation)
from approx. 10:00 a.m.: Start Half-Marathon MTB + Gravel Bike (approx. 65 km / 1300 m elevation)
from approx. 10:15 a.m.: Start E-Bike Challenge (approx. 38 km / 1000 m elevation + approx. 65 km / 1300 m elevation)
from approx. 10:45 a.m.: Start Sport Track MTB + Gravel Bike (approx. 38 km / 1000 m elevation) + GesundLand Route (25 km / 550 m elevation)
from approx. 11:00 a.m.: Start Youth Cup for classes U9 (approx. 1.8 km) / U11 (approx. 3.6 km) / U13 (approx. 5.4 km)

Participants and Categories: The event attracts participants from various age groups and categories, including U19, elite riders, and seniors. There are special competitions such as the Youth Cup for younger riders and the E-Bike Challenge for E-Bike fans.
