Running is your passion? Then look forward to a very special run in the largest maar region in Europe

It goes past mysterious maars, rugged rocks, and gently rolling hills – let your gaze linger a little longer over our impressive landscape!

In addition to a great natural experience, our region also scores with well-developed paths: You can wonderfully escape the stressful everyday life while running. Step by step, you will connect more with yourself and experience an invaluable sense of freedom. What a moment of happiness it is when you finally cross the finish line in the land of maars and volcanoes.

Whether beginner or pro – everyone is welcome to register for the largest landscape run in the Eifel. It's worth it, we promise! On the stage in the charming Gillenfeld, you can also look forward to varied entertainment: In addition to the award ceremony, you can enjoy a colorful program with live music.

Even the young ones can lace up their sports shoes for this experience run and hit the track. Every child – no matter if big or small – should enjoy the running movement and can choose between three age-appropriate distances.

All runs take place on the grounds around the Gillenfeld elementary and secondary school plus starting at 5 p.m. The award ceremonies will take place at 7:30 p.m., and there will be great live music. The finish closes at 8 p.m.
